  • We are looking for a reliable colleague for the position of System Administrator / Application Success Associate who will be responsible for the operation, support, and further development of our applications and infrastructure in cooperation with the internal technology team.

  • This position is suitable for junior candidates who have a solid technical foundation, an interest in systems and applications, and a strong motivation to grow professionally.

Job Description

  • This role is a mix of system administration (Ops) and application support. You will not just be “solving tickets” but will actively contribute to the real operation of systems.

  • System administration: Operation and maintenance of servers running Ubuntu OS deployed in a cloud environment

  • Application support: Administration of e-commerce solutions (built on PHP) and internal applications (Oracle APEX)

  • Troubleshooting: Incident diagnostics, from logs to databases. You will look for root causes of issues, not just forward them

  • Development and automation: Cooperation with developers on deploying changes and improving monitoring

  • Reporting: Preparation of summary reports and regular reports on provided support

Required Profile

  • Basic experience with cloud environments and an overview of cloud services (Azure is an advantage)

  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP is an advantage)

  • Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), SQL, and general database orientation

  • Independence, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and systematically solve problems

  • Experience with a ticketing system (e.g. Jira – an advantage, not a requirement)

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team and across the company

  • Ability to communicate in English (part of the team and documentation is in English)

  • Technical education or a corresponding technical background (university degree is not required)
